How to book and Attraction

When making group bookings, Group Travel NI advises group organisers to contact the visitor services team at the venue of their choice. In this way, the specific group interests and needs can be discussed using just one point of contact right the way through, from initial enquiry to the actual group visit.

We also recommends that, where possible, group organisers should arrange a preliminary site visit. This provides an important opportunity to see the location and setting of the venue, discuss the various tour options available that will best suit their group requirements, check availability and discuss refreshment and retail opportunities.

Group organisers should also be aware that group tours around historic venues and gardens can be adapted to suit specific group needs.

For example, National Trust properties can provide a group rate to include a tour with tea and coffee or a tour with lunch and half day or full day visits.  Ask the venue if they have special deals for groups etc.

A number of venues can also open outside normal public opening times if requested. It should be noted, however, that an additional charge may be applied in these circumstances.
